Trinity Capital buys 2.5 pct stake in Indian Infrastructure Co for
4.8 mln stg

LONDON (AFX) - Trinity Capital PLC, the asset management arm of Trinity, has paid 4.8 mln stg for a 2.8 pct stake in Indian transportation infrastructure developer IL&FS Transportation & Networks Ltd (ITNL), which is 90 pct-owned by Infrastructure Leasing and Finance Services Ltd(IL&FS), also of India.

The stake represents the first allocation of a 100 mln stg partnership with IL&FS for real estate and infrastructure investments, which the two companies announced in August.

INTL also owns 22.6 pct of another Indian company Noida Toll Bridge Co. Ltd, which is listed on AIM.
