Road relaying work at Vadodra-Halol Toll Road
The road relaying work for the Vadodra-Halol Toll Road started on February 8th and is expected to be complete within a time period of 135 days. The work involves recycling of 31.7 km of the four lane road.
Proper diversions of traffic have been provided at work location. The work is being done between two median openings so that traffic is diverted for minimum length of one carriageway. Where possible the one side traffic is being diverted on service road so as to avoid two directional traffic on one carriageway. Solar blinkers have been installed on diversion boards so as to have proper guidance to the night traffic.
The work is of ‘Hot in place Asphalt Recycling using Martec AR2000 Super Recycler’. All required tests as per quality control specification in confirmation to MORT&H specification for recycled material are being conducted at site and laboratory in the presence of GTRICL representatives.
