IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited (ITNL), with a diverse portfolio of numerous road projects spread across India and as the largest privately financed road operator in India, wins yet another Road concession. ITNL has been recently selected as the lowest bidder for the development of Beawar-Gomti section of NH-8 on Public-Private Partnership basis. The concession for the project has been awarded to ITNL by Department of Road Transport and Highways (DORTH).
The concession will include construction, operation and maintenance of 116 km of Project Highway for a period of 30 years including the Construction Period of 455 days to be implemented on BOT (Toll) basis.

The Project road mainly passes through Beawer, Ajmer, Bhim, Kamblighat and Gomti towns in the state of Rajasthan and provides improved connectivity to Holy Pilgrim place "Shrinath Ji" as well. Development of the project stretch will lead to significant time and distance savings while travelling from Kishangarh to Udaipur. |
